The installation took eight months to complete and included moisture control, full floor preparation and 6,200m² of Tarkett vinyl sheet with self-coved skirting throughout. Two five storey staircases have also been fully fitted with strings, edge trims and nosings.
Birmingham Children’s Hospital is a world-renowned facility and this new centre will be home to the UK’s first pioneering rare diseases centre for children.
The eye catching four storey building will be a huge asset to Birmingham. As part of the design process, the views of children and young people were integrated into the new building.
